Jessica Moorland is a psychic medium, who received messages in the first book, Finding the Fox, from the Wolf Boy, for Dax Jones, but she was under Patrick Wood's hypnosis, and did not give them to him. She also received messages from Gideon Reader's Auntie Pam.
She lost her powers at the end of Running the Risk, but got them back at the end of Stirring the Storm after Catherine Reader died.
